Hale & Wagner, S.C. has significant experience representing plaintiffs in shareholders’ and class action litigation in Wisconsin courts. The firm was appointed as liaison counsel to represent investors in the Eastern District of Wisconsin in White v. Heartland High-Yield Municipal Bond Fund, et al., Consolidated Case No. 00-C-1388; and In Re Cumulus Inc. Securities Litigation, Master File No. 00-C-391. Hale & Wagner, S.C. also served as special counsel in the class to assist with issues regarding allocation of proceeds in Paper Systems Inc. v. Mitsubishi Corp., et al., Case No. 96-C-0959; Graphic Controls Corp. v. Mitsubishi Corp., et al., Consolidated Case No. 96-C-0412; and Victor Paper Roll Products, Inc. v. Mitsubishi Corp., et al., Consolidated Case No. 96-C-0508.
Hale & Wagner, S.C. has been appointed as local counsel in shareholder litigation including In Re Wisconsin Energy Corporation Shareholder Litigation, Master File No. 00-CV-006889 (Milwaukee County Circuit Court); Harbor Finance Partners, et al. v. Martin, et al., Case No. 00-CV-000907 (Milwaukee County Circuit Court); and Allen v. ProVantage Health Services, Inc., et al., Case No. 00-CV-938 (Waukesha County Circuit Court). Hale & Wagner, S.C. has also been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee in In Re Shopko Stores, Inc. Shareholder Litigation, Case No. 05-CV-677 (Brown County Circuit Court).
Hale & Wagner, S.C. has served as lead class counsel in Champine, et al. v. Milwaukee County, Case No. 02-CV-2841 (Milwaukee County Circuit Court); and as co-lead counsel in Noonan, et al. v. Northwestern Mut. Life, Case No. 01-CV-012349 (Milwaukee County Circuit Court) (motion for class certification pending).
